What is Balayam Yoga?
Balayam is a great yoga methodology which can deal with all hair related problems such as premature greying,hairfall,dandruff etc.This is also called by the name of ‘prasanna mudra’.But the only difference between this mudra and other mudras is the continuous movement of hands rubbing against each other.
Balyam is a nail rubbing exercise and is a combination of two hindi words ‘Bal’ means ‘hair’ and ‘Vyayam’ means ‘exercise’. In simple terminology Balyam means exercise for hair. To be more specific, Balayam is an acupressure therapy in which a person rubs his/her fingernails of both hands against each other to stimulate scalp’s activities.

If the fingernails of both the hands are rubbed against each other to stimulate the scalp’s activities, then it will boost natural hair growth and can cure Male Pattern Baldness. You can get cured if you suffer from indigestion and constipation. Do Balayam Yoga for 10 minutes in the morning, before breakfast and 10 minutes in the evening, before dinner. Rub the four fingernails (except that of thumb) of both the hands against each other. Surface of fingernails should rub hardly against each other. Since roots of hair follicles on scalp are connected to the tip of fingernails, this pressure creation will help in pumping required nutrition to the scalp and promote hair growth.

If you rub the tips of fingernails of one hand against the surface of fingernails of another hand, then it increases the hair growth on ears and inside the ears. If you rub both the surface of both the thumb fingernails against each other, then one can see an increase in the hairs of moustache and beard. So avoid doing so in both the cases if you are a woman.
